Absolutely---the team was skillful, but most importantly was their outlook to communicating and building relationships with customers and their focus on satisfaction. The Project Manager (TW) was essential to a good experience. Many owners in our cul-de-sac observed the project from start to finish and asked us for feedback on the experience---unwittingly served as a good PR effort for BlackDog. At least two other homeowners are contemplating remodeling services in the upcoming year and conveyed they would be seeking out BlackDog based on our feedback and quality of the end product they inspected at our home. (Note: In our community there are many independent contractors and design & build firms, thus making it highly competitive when getting multiple bids for a project. BlackDog has a reputation for being "less competitive" or "over priced" or "only interested in large-scale projects with exclusive homes." But we find that this perception is not accurate and perhaps might be something perpetuated by independent GCs without direct evidence or experience. BlackDog was very willing to do our smaller project and in hindsight looking at the final results we think that it would not have been done with such attention to design detail if it had been with an independent GC.)
