This was our first project with BlackDog and it was a rather small remodeling one (2 weeks). We checked in on-site every day to make sure things were going as expected. But after this experience, we would feel comfortable taking on a much larger scope of project and not having to be on-site so much. The design and planning step were useful and insightful---it was a pleasure working with SS. He actively listens to homeowners. We accepted BlackDog's bid because of the design SS provided (unlike any of the other four bids we received from independent GCs). The Project Manager (TW) had remarkable expertise and proficiencies with building and managing customer relations. The roofinfg framer (J from NH) was tireless in getting the complicated angles of two different roof pitches just right ---a committed worker with a great attitude that supported a challenging design effort. It was truly a pleasure and honor to work with the entire team. We have endured many remodeling projects over the years and usually relieved to have them completed each time. But this experience with BlackDog left us feeling like we had been in good hands the entire time and would be our first choice on any future projects.
