We needed guidance and a full-service company. The Black Dog team was patient and worked with us on all aspects of our project, from planning, design, and construction to full implementation of our ideas. The Black Dog team hit the mark. The design team worked cooperatively with us to help make our dreams a reality. All products were selected before the project began in our home. We chose cabinets, floors, doors, appliances, hardware, and set construction parameters and more. We saw this initially as a daunting task, but the design team helped us focus within a world of choices. We had a confident feeling as the actual work began. The ability to see our new spaces virtually on a large monitor reassured us that every detail had been carefully planned. It brought our project alive for us.

Our Project Manager, David, kept faithfully to a weekly update meeting. He listened to our questions and concerns and resolved every problem to our satisfaction. With David at the helm, we always felt that matters were progressing and under control. Most importantly, we were blessed to be able to work with a very skillful Lead Carpenter. Matt was terrific in every way. He was very knowledgeable, kept our home areas clean and safe, and responded to all our questions immediately. For the many months of the project, Matt was a daily part of our lives, and he was a brilliant communicator. "From our first meeting to the very last day of construction, Black Dog exceeded all expectations. We recently completed a large kitchen renovation and a first-floor remodel. Given that this was our first large remodel, we didn’t have any idea of the process. John, our designer whom we met with first, understood our vision and offered amazing ideas from the get-go. We knew right then and there that Black Dog was for us! He walked us through every step and told us exactly what to expect next. We met with him weekly to design the kitchen of our dreams. Seeing our design come to life on John’s CAD 3-d renderings was impressive. We picked every element of the kitchen together. We told him the “feel” we wanted in our space, and he guided each of our choices to make it come to life. When it came time for the construction portion of the project, we truly had a dream team. Our lead contractor, James, and project manager, Bree, worked so closely together. We had weekly meetings with Bree and had an open line of communication with James. Our project was finished on time and has completely transformed our home. We are confident we would not have had this level of design, nor the team of professionals to bring our vision to life.

"Blackdog Design/Build/Remodel did a beautiful job on our renovation of multiple spaces (pantry, laundry room, primary bedroom, and primary bath). During the design process, our needs were heard, and the presented ideas were excellent. Our site was left in an orderly and clean state at the end of each day. The final selection of materials, including the cabinetry, is gorgeous. All of the subcontractors did excellent work - we were highly impressed with the final tile work and painting. We love the final results, and they fit seamlessly with the rest of our home. Throughout the project, there were clear lines of communication.
