The original space had inadequate flow -the kitchen was segmented with too little elbow space in the kitchen, and felt compartmentalized and constrained for entertaining.

The solution was to remove the walls in the main area of the kitchen and dining area to create an open-concept space with significant counter top space, seating and storage. The new design is user-friendly for the family, perfect for entertaining with many areas to converse and dine.

This project features some unique elements, including the two-tone cabinetry and countertop colors, the laminate edge on the island, a custom blackboard wall, and the built-in beer tap/wet bar -perfect for entertaining!
